Erica

Erica Force, Sex Education Apprentice – EricaForce@SexologyInstitute.com

Erica, born and raised in Arizona, is newly transplanted to San Antonio with her Husband. Graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Health Administration, she has spent years in various healthcare roles and finally found Sexology to be where her heart lies. She plans to attend school at the beginning of the year to obtain her Masters, starting the process to positively educate and influence healthy sexual lifestyles. “The topic of sex in the U.S. is wildly taboo, even on an academic level. With pretty much nonexistent education in middle and high school our college students are left in a situation of knowing very little yet statistically having been sexually active. With our current hypersexualized culture, it is important to study the sociological, biological, economical, and legal topics of sex in our society.”

Brittany M, Boutique Concierge

I am often seen as the traditional military wife who put a career on hold to stay home and have two children.

After a year of marriage and adding the first child, sex felt like a chore–boring and repetitive. Feeling like something was seriously wrong, I nervously confided in a friend about my concerns. She assured me I wasn’t alone! She gave me helpful tips and places to visit with my husband to “spice things up”. Ever since then, I have become passionate about having open conversations with friends, members of my church, and other moms about how fun and exciting sex should be! Talk about it ladies! Don’t be shy! Friends don’t let friends have unfulfilling sex!

Brittney G, Boutique Concierge

Brittney is currently pursuing her Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and later plans to pursue a Masters in Sex Therapy and Education. She feels the need to make sex and masturbation a more talked-about subject in today’s society because she believes that sex is a normal and healthy activity to which everyone is eventually exposed. She is passionate about passing on the knowledge that she is learning and hopes others will recognize the issues that we have as a country regarding sexual education. She also feels it is important for others to express their sexuality in a positive way and hopes to enlighten others to the world of sexology.

Crystal, Sexology Intern

Crystal was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. She received her Bachelor’s of Arts, with a major in Sociology and a minor in Psychology. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in counseling. She has aspirations to counsel a population that have been negatively impacted by sexual encounters. Having embraced her own sexuality after meetings with Melissa, she has come to find the Sexology Institute and Boutique as a beacon of positivity and hope. Embracing one’s sexuality brings a power and strength that she wants everyone to have and experience. Identifying as bisexual, she is an advocate for the LGBTQI community. She encourages sexual expression and individuals to explore what it is that makes them happy.

Amy, Boutique Concierge, IT Coordinator – Amy@SexologyInstitute.com

Amy received her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. She is now a full-time teacher here in San Antonio, Texas. She has a passion for music and enjoys playing the piano. As an obsessive-compulsive organizer, she keeps the Sexology Institute running smoothly, with her color-coding and scheduling expertise. Just don’t un-alphabetize any of her files. As a conservative Christian, Amy believes that couples need a safe place to discuss their sex lives without fear or judgment. She grew up feeling like the topic of sex was taboo in her church’s culture, and so she came to work at the institute so that she could help spread the word that not only is sex okay, it’s wonderful!
